CyberStep Philippines Inc. was the live service game publisher in the Philippines. It is the local subsidiary of Japanese developer CyberStep Inc. and was the publisher and distributor of the latter's games in the Philippines.

Background

On July 12, 2007, CyberStep Inc. partnered with ABS-CBN Multimedia Inc., the operator of the Amped portal, to publish GetAmped in the Philippines.[1]

On May 31, 2013, ABS-CBN Multimedia ceased its operations as it exited the live service gaming market.

CyberStep enters the Philippines

On April 16, 2013, CyberStep Inc. opened a CyberStep portal for the Philippines.[1]

CyberStep Philippines Inc. was founded on June 17, 2013[1][2], a month after the ABS-CBN Multimedia ceased operations. It published a new Philippine server of GetAmped,[3] a game that was previously published under Amped.

The company partnered with Level Up! Inc. to market its games under the Level Up! Global Games brand. Partnered games include Cosmic Break, GetAmped, and GetAmped 2.[4]

The CyberStep Philippines website was shut down in 2020.[note 1]
