Bakbakan

Bakbakan is a Filipino song performed by the band Powerspoonz. It is the bonus track of the 2008 Level Up! music album, Live! The Album: Music of the Level Up! Nation.

Bakbakan is a song created by Powerspoonz in collaboration with Level Up! for the 2008 music album Live! The Album. The album was a tie-in for the Level Up! Live 2008 event. The 2008 Level Up! Live event was special because it hosted the Ragnarok World Championship 2008 grand finals.

In an interview with Level Up!, the Powerspoonz stated that the Bakbakan "was written [..] for all the 'bayanis', all the flagbearers and heroes of the Filipino spirit". It was also dedicated to Filipino players representing the country, stating that "Ragnarok is like any sport or event where [a player] gets to represent [his] country."^[1]

Bakbakan was later re-released in Powerspoonz' 2012 album, "Inna Stereo".
