ePLDT's acquisition of Level Up! Inc.
In February 2006, Philippine technology company ePLDT, Inc. announced that it had acquired a majority stake in the live service gaming publisher Level Up! Inc. from its parent company, Level Up! International Holdings Pte. Ltd. This acquisition led to the merger of the operations of the gaming portals netGames (owned by ePLDT) and Level Up! , with the former's branding being dropped in favor of retaining the latter.

Ragnarok Online
Ragnarok Online is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG developed by South Korean developer GRAVITY Co., Ltd. for Microsoft Windows. It is loosely based on the South Korean manhwa Ragnarok: Into the Abyss by Lee Myung-jin. It is the first game in the Ragnarok franchise and is best known in the Philippines as the first officially licensed published MMORPG in the country.
