In early 2018, the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) launched the "Sketch the PBA All-Star logo" contest for its upcoming PBA All-Star 2018 Weekend event. The winner of the event was found to have plagiarized the PlayPark All-Stars 2018 logo and was disqualified.

RAN Global Tournament , also known as RAN GT , was a short-lived series of international tournaments for the MMORPG RAN Online that ran from 2007 until 2008. It was organized by the game's South Korean developer Min Communications, in partnership with various live service game publishers that managed each region's RAN Online server. G-Star 2018 was a video game trade exhibition held from November 13 until 18, 2018, in Busan, South Korea.
