The game was launched globally, including the Philippines, on June 20, 2024, nearly a decade after the original Chinese version was launched in 2015. In the Philippines, the game is managed by the regional team of Level Infinite.

GBPlay, Inc. was a Philippine live service publisher and was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Smilegate Worldwide Pte. Ltd., the SEA publishing arm of the South Korean Smilegate Group. It was established in 2014 to publish games in the Gameclub portal. In 2019, it was replaced by South Korean publisher Smilegate Megaport, Inc.

The Ragnarok World Championship 2004 , or simply RWC 2004 , was an international tournament for the MMORPG Ragnarok Online that was held from July 17 to July 18, 2004 at the Pacific Hall in COEX, Samsung-Dong, Kangnam-Gu, Seoul, South Korea. The Philippines participated in the event with the help of the game's local publisher, Level Up! .

The Ragnarok Philippine Championship 2005 was a Philippine nationwide tournament for the live service MMORPG Ragnarok Online . It was organized by its Philippine publisher, Level Up! . It is the second Ragnarok Philippine Championship (RPC) held in the country and is also the first RPC tournament to implement regional-based tournaments. The on-ground playoffs were held on the weekend of June 25 and 26, 2005 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
