MyGame.PH, Inc.'s company revocation
In 2009, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines revoked the corporate registration of live service publisher MyGame.PH, Inc. , the operator of the MyGame portal, after it was revealed that it was successfully registered with incorrect documentation. In the company's submitted documents, three out of five South Korean incorporators of MyGame.PH were declared as residents of the Philippines to satisfy the requirements of establishing a company in the country.

The Level Up KL SEA Game Awards 2025 is an upcoming Southeast Asian game development competition held by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)’s Level Up KL. The 40 finalist games of the awards will be showcased during the LEVEL UP KL event on October 6 to 8, 2025, at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Duaw Davao Festival 2024 Inter-Barangay MLBB Tournament
In June 2024, during the Duaw Davao Festival 2024 , the Davao City government, together with Davao Esports, held a free inter-barangay Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament as part of the festival. The main on-ground tournament was held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the Davao City Recreation Center (formerly known as the Almendras Gym) in Davao City.

The PlayPark Philippines launch event was a press launch event to debut the live service gaming PlayPark brand in the country. It was held on March 4, 2015, at the Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas in Pasig, Metro Manila. It was a major rebranding event that led to the retirement of the Level Up! brand.

The Masked Warrior is a 2017 Filipino fan-made, live-action short film based on the live service MOBA Dota 2. It was created by Manila-based Wonderlast Films and was served as an official entry to the 2017 Dota 2 Short Film Contest, where it became one of that year's finalists.
ePLDT's acquisition of Level Up! Inc.
In February 2006, Philippine technology company ePLDT, Inc. announced that it had acquired a majority stake in the live service gaming publisher Level Up! Inc. from its parent company, Level Up! International Holdings Pte. Ltd. This acquisition led to the merger of the operations of the gaming portals netGames (owned by ePLDT) and Level Up! , with the former's branding being dropped in favor of retaining the latter.
