Ragnarok World Championship
The Ragnarok World Championship ( RWC ) was a series of international esport tournaments for the MMORPG Ragnarok Online from 2004 until 2013. It was organized by the game's South Korean developer GRAVITY, in partnership with various live service game publishers that managed each region's Ragnarok Online server. In the Philippines, the game was managed under Level Up! . The Philippines had participated in all of the events.

GG The Movie is a 2024 Filipino esports film directed by Prime Cruz and distributed by Star Cinema. It was released in Philippine theatres on January 24, 2024, and was released on Netflix worldwide on June 26, 2024. It is the first Filipino film that is based on the esports industry. Various real-life esports personalities appeared as cameos in the movie.

Pokémon x 7-Eleven Stellar Crown collaboration
In September 2024, the Pokémon company collaborated with 7-Eleven branches in the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia to celebrate the release of Pokémon TCG's latest expansion, Scarlet & Violet: Stellar Crown . Delayed South Korean visas of Philippine representatives for League of Legends World Cyber Games Grand Finals 2011
In December 2011, two members of Bida Gaming, the Philippine representatives for the League of Legends World Cyber Games (WCG) 2011 tournament, had their visas delayed due to additional requirements of the South Korean embassy. The WCG Grand Finals was held from December 8 until 11, 2011, in Busan, South Korea. Bida Gaming was unable to participate in the tournament and was forced to forfeit.
